This accessibility statement applies to the Big Picture Medical Patient Portal

This website is run by Big Picture Medical. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this application. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • Change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
  • Zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • Navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
  • Listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

1.1. Technical information about the accessibility

Big Picture Medical PTY LTD is committed to making its Patient Portal accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

We build features with accessibility in mind from the start, then conduct regular reviews before releasing new features or pathways to ensure continued compliance with accessibility standards.

2. Compliance status

This website is fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 AA standard.

3. Non-accessible content

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible. However, this content is exempt under disproportionate burden provisions and does not affect our overall compliance status:

  • Live video teleconference calls do not have captions

4. Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 1st August 2024. It was last reviewed on 19th November 2025. This website was last tested between the period of 20 August 2025 and 19 November 2025 against the WCAG 2.1 AA standard.

The test was carried out by Big Picture Medical using SmartBear test management solutions. The most viewed pages were tested using automated testing tools by our website team. A further audit of the website was carried out to the WCAG 2.1 AA standard.
