Position Title: Product Manager
Department: Product and Design?
Reports To: Head of Product and Design
Position Summary:
The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of products from conception to launch. This role involves coordinating with our clinical, design, engineering, and product teams to develop cutting-edge applications that meet market demands and company objectives.?
The Product Manager drives priorities and execution of platform initiatives, ensuring alignment between user needs and business opportunities. Additionally, the Product Manager manages and provides direction to the team and initiatives to ensure the most efficient and effective delivery of initiatives.?
Key responsibilities:
- Define product strategy and roadmap for the team, aligning with the company strategy and market needs.
- Lead the execution of key product and project initiatives, collaborating with peers across engineering, design, clinical, balancing long-term opportunities with immediate business and user needs.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritising features and capabilities and ensuring clear roadmaps for all product initiatives.
- Manage and mitigate product risks (primarily value and viability risk), and ensure regulatory compliance within the healthcare industry.
- Measure and communicate team success and learnings to the wider business, translating developments into tangible business outcomes.
- Contribute to the product management discipline by improving practices, championing a data-driven culture within the product team, fostering a deep understanding of how data informs product decisions.
- Monitor industry trends (including open standards, healthcare, emerging technologies, opportunities for innovation and growth).?
Skills and competencies:
- A commercial mindset and strong data-driven decision making that contribute to business growth and revenue generation.
- Ability to zoom out and use broader business context and external factors to advise strategy, direction, and execution.?
- Experience and technical knowledge to manage both external and internally focused products, balancing the needs of external customers with those of internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to tailor information across different teams and parts of the organisation.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
- Experience in preparing data for, and working with data models (including AI/ML)
- Experience with OpenEHR, SNOMED, FHIR favourable.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to set product strategy and roadmap.
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic organisation that is rapidly evolving, and navigate the ambiguity, change, and challenges this environment occasionally creates.
